Academy in Smyrna had the M&P 40C last week for $519. It was the one without the manual safety.

The local shop has the XD's for $549 XDM's for $609 and the M&P's run about $20-$30 cheaper than the XD. I have seen them on other used gun sites for $650-$750. I have no idea who pays those prices for the used ones but not me! HAHA

I bought a M&P 9mm compact from a local gun store here in Memphis for 561 out the door last February. Not sure what the price is now after the shootings in Connecticut.

I have 1 for sale but is not the usual 1,5.25 competition 9mm xdm everything from factory plus , total 6 19 round mags , extra mag holder,trigger done but not the take up , had about 500 thru it atg idpa and carried a couple times,adj fiber optic sights so in excellent shape,a tac driver,I paid a hair over 800 for just the gun total plus 165 in extras,for $875 I will include 350 rounds fmj Clarksville area , will trade for other pistols
