It was a bow kill and fo course, if AL had checkin, I would do so. No question, Had I started triling immeidately as I do, I would have foudn him quickly. But, when you hunt another's land, you play by their rules.

SCN- Bass were in two feet of water. Check your calendar forlate Feb, early March see if you have a little lost time.
There was a doctor there from Enterprise and I truly think, had he notbeen there, I might have sneezed myself to death. Ever sneezed so rapidly you could not catch your breath? Thought I was going to pass out.

Surprised the squirrels had not gotten to it. It doesn't look damaged at all. Glad you found it.

Glad you had a good time and recovered the rack from that far back. I'm heading just below Selma in a week and a half and hope the temps drop. We hunted there last season on their rifle opener and it was hot as all get out and the hunting stunk.

I was surprised at how good it looked. I was a year off on when I shot it. It was 2009, late Oct. That makes it just over three years dead. Actually a little larger than I thought.
I believe that is one of the first bucks I killed with a crossbow. I know the first one I also shot at W.O. also an 8-pt. that I shot on camera for the Horton folks. He was not as large as this one. I can't recall one in between and Ibelieve I was too sick to hunt during that period.
