I have a recurve as a back up bow. Have had a few "incidents" of the last couple of years where I was down a bow but was able to get it back up and running within a few days. Bet with most everyone the back up bow is just taking up space.

For the first time in 31 years, I needed my back-up bow. Not because my primary bow failed, but because my arm became weak after a back injury. I used my 63 pound back-up to lower the poundage to 47 and start getting back in shape.
I killed 2 slick heads the second week of January, 2013.
But most of the time, I have never needed one.

Don't have one, but want one. Actually, want a new bow and keep the Switchback XT as the back up.
I just can't seem to pull the trigger. I constantly go look, shoot the newest line, dream about it, but just won't do it.....I don't know why.
I've still got the Xmas bonus that is burning a hole in my pocket and was all set to buy one, even to the point I went and shot a Creed on Xmas Eve, but for whatever reason I always talk myself out of it.
But to answer your question....no back up here.
Haha. Thats was me to a T. I loved my XT, but I finally bit the bullet and sold it and bought a Heli-m last yr cause it was finally a model that had little kick to it compared to the XT. A couple other models did too but they didnt shoot anymore than 6fps faster than my XT. But I did like that new Chill tho.
As far as a spare. Id like one but cant afford it. To many trips and purchases to Toys r us.
