I am selling a barreled action with bottom metal Weatherby Vanguard S2 SUb MOA in .257 weatherby mag. This is the barreled action and bottom metal for the stockm but I do not have a stock on it right now. I sold the Bell And Carlson medalist stock I had on it separately. This rifle has 42 rounds through it and is very accurate. This also includes 50 rounds of Weatherby factory ammo. 25 rounds are the soft point spitzer, 12 rounds are spire points and 13 rounds are accu-bonds. PM me if interested. I am selling for $400 firm. Only trade I would consider is a late 70's/80's Remington 1100 12 gauge.

Thanks Dave. You can also find one on Ebay. The original Vanguard stocks fit the S2's as well. This rifle could fit in a cheap plastic vanguard stock or one of their really nice deluxe wood stocks.

I have a rem 1100 with three barrels I might let go, but you might have to come up with a stock.

what is the recoil like on that caliber with a lite stock? 24" barrel length?

Very similar to a .270. Depending on bullet weight and powder charge, it is somwhere between 15 to 17.7 foot lbs. A 270 pushing a 130 grain bullet is right at 16.5 foot lbs.
