Iets say I want rockytop ring. I google rockytop and find the tune I want and click play and hold my phone up to computer speaker and record the sound. I've done that for years. I havn't heard anybody else with andy Griffith theme song. I can do that for anything. I have turkey gobbling, rockytop, fishin hole knight rider theme song, etc. I'm wanting the dave ramsey intro music but I have not found it yet on the computer without the words like on his show

Search the App Store for "ringtones". There are apps out there that will let you download them straight to your phone. Not sure if any of them are worth a fart or not...

How do you record the sound on to the iPhone? Then how do you put it as somebody's ringtone?

I wasn't aware of that I have a droid but I've been able to set any of my recorded sounds as ringtones on my last several phones so I guess I assumed the iphone was no different. Sorry about that just one more reason I wouldn't have an iphone
