Sitting here perched in the ladder stand and I feel like I am here for the bow opener. Hearing owls, crickets, and mosquitoes. I guess it is better than not hunting. Supposedly the rut has just begun down here, but I missed a good eight a month ago chasing does everywhere. Nothing to do but sit back and wait. Did I mention its hot?
