I might take the 300 RUM to the gunshow on Sunday. Savae 300 RUM, No accutrigger, model 16 wood syn. and stainless. With a Millet 6x18x56 on top. For $600 plus 30 rounds to boot. Too much or not enough??
Just wondering what yal thought, since Savage doesnt make them anymore and I never see them on Gun Broker anymore.

Bolt action hunting rifles are a tough sell at a gun show. IMO you would do much better putting it for sale on Gunbroker, and wont feel so dejected.

I went last week to the Dickson gun show. There was a guy trying to get $150 from a dealer for a rem 770 in 308 and the dealer said he was not interested. Had I had the cash, I would have bought it from him and posted it on here for $250.
