It's getting scarce. I haven't found varget at the local store in the last 3 weeks. Bullets are getting thin. Internet orders are even worse. If they have it may not ship for several days

I ordered 10,000 CCI BR2 large rifle primers on December 20, 2012, according to my Fed-Ex tracking number, they should arrive on Monday 1/14/13

Chatt area is wiped out at all of the local stores. No primers, very little in the way of powder, and bullets are like finding hens teeth. Nothing .22 in stock over 50gr, very few 165gr .308 except for some boutique bullets, and even the .277 140gr Accubonds are out of stock locally and online. Funny thing is, I buy my reloading stock this time every year to gear up for my winter "reloading season" and, of course, that's when all of this has to happen. At Sportsman's, I saw a load of IMR4350 come in last week and walked away since I didn't have the money, but thought better of it and went back to get a few pounds a day later and it was all gone. Bummer

Mom and pops stores are selling Alliant powders for $30-40 per pound (since that is all that they seem to have), and CCI primers for around $40/k if they have any. But Sportsman's is still the same price on what they get in stock ($21 on Alliant powders, 25 on IMR powders, 28/k on CCI primers). I appreciate that they are not gouging, I just have to check in frequently.

The local store has several options throughout hornady bullets. Primers are $45/1000 or $5.50/100. I find the 5.50/100 high but I got primers for $33/1000 about a month ago. Shoulda got 2k to put up. Powder prices haven't went up that I've noticed. Just can't get any of the more popular stuff

Place I get my once-fired 223/308 brass from as recently as August had over a hundred thousand pieces in inventory. All gone. They have 270, 50 BMG, some new lapua stuff, nothing looks like the same prices but they aren't gouging.

Biggest downfall about ordering primers vs buying local is the hazard fee. If you were buying a thousand primers and 8lbs of powder it wouldn't be so bad but to pay the fee for just a thousan primers or a pound of powder is crazy

Went to my local shop and bought the last pound of 4064 and they had been out of varget for a while. Bullets are impossible to find online.

1k LR primers from SW on Friday, there were only 5 100ct boxes left. A couple 50rnd Barnes 150gr .308 cal bullets to be had, by me, and a box of partitions in the same caliber. Very slim pickens now.
