Headed to the lease in the morning, the wife and I and both of our older kids (11 and 10), hoping at a minimum my 11yo daughter can take her first, son got his first last year, wife got her first this year...
Good luck to the rest of you taking kids out this weekend - thanks for helping another generation get involved!!!

Hope your kids have lots of fun! Good luck!
My girl is 8 and she got her first ( a 3pt ) this year. Hope the weather don't hurt us to bad so she can get her 2nd in the morning.

Rained.. nay, POURED from the time we got in our houses until we took advantage of a slight break just after 8am to head back to the car. Saw one deer on the walk in, but that was it.
Maybe this afternoon will be better for us...

We had a roof over us so we just stuck it out. About 9:00 my girl was looking so bored. I asked if she wanted to leave, she said yes. We started to leave but rain got real hard and we would have got soaked trying to get back to truck. I told her we will have to wait til it slacked a bit. About 10:00 it slacked and I started gathering things up when I looked up to see a small spike standing down the hill and my girl killed her 2nd buck of her first year hunting!
