Thanks to big pete357, I jumped. Walmart in coolsprings. Thank pal!! I feel I did pretty well. Normal price. Barely made it in time! Felt bad for the guys behind me, they never made it to the shelves.
I was just gonna say that. they had some when in there on my lunch (.223) some 9mm, some, .40 and .45. they have a 2 box limit to stop people from buying it all up. the guy last night didn't honor it so they sold all the 100 round boxes quickly. He got written up.
Academy also had tons of pistol ammo, and .22 LR. They too had a 2 box limit on most pistol ammo and the .22. they had some .223 also limited to 2 boxes and it was gone in an hr. people waiting 30 minutes or more before the store opened.

handgun ammo, 30-06,270,243,30-30, and most other hunting loads are readily available.
