I have an 1198 that was purchased brand new this past summer from a board sponsor. It has everything it would have as new and is in perfect shape. I also have a 798 with external gps puck and an aftermarket transducer saver thats valued around 75-100. I also have a navionics platinum east purchased this past summer. Both of these items can be bought for a total of $3108 + shipping, brand new and come with warranty. I think you are a little pricey. Of course, the Navionics card and transducer saver sweeten the pot.

Add the navionics platinum in @ 179+ tax and the trans shield is 100 plus which brings your total plus tax at over $3400. The best price I have seen on an 1198 is $2300. The 798 used selling for 600+ plus and really there is not a very big used market on the 1198s , people just aren't selling them . Check around and you will see the used 1198 are selling for 2000-2100. $600 savings from new seems to be a pretty big savings in my opinion considering shipping with insurance is coming out of my pocket and will be in the neighborhood of $100. So I think I'm very reasonable on price. They were both just registered this summer and additional warranty was added through humminbird select.
Just out of curiosity... How much should i pay for someone to take them???
And I never said the price was set in stone either. Willing to look at trades with guns and cash or maybe something else.

I know!! Im just getting a feel as for what I can price it at And have some interest. Price could be negotiated, depending on shipping And method of pmt. Just planning on selling my bass boat And figured The electronics are worth more separated from The boat !! If shipping is paid by The buyer I will let it go for $2600 which is a pretty good deal considering there are not many used 1198s out there And new retail is $2300+
