I have looked it up and everything I read says the ammo I have with the headstamp KA 73 is:

30-06 KA Pusan Government Arsenal, Pusan, Republic of Korea - Korean ammo with a K A headstamp will be corrosive...

I have approximately 100 rounds - some of it looks good, some maybe not so good. How should I dispose of it. And please don't answer SHOOT IT! lol

Usually its the primers that are corrosive. Use a bullet puller and remove the powder, then dispose of separately is what I would do. You may consider reusing the bullets for practice/plinking if you reload.

I bought a couple thousand rounds of it when it was imported several years ago. Corrosive ammo is no problem as long as you clean it promptly. You can pull it down and use the powder and projectiles in reloads if you don't want to shoot it. As said above, the primers are the corrosive part.

Thanks for the input. I might try to pull a few apart and clean and tumble the brass and see what is looks like.

What are your recommendations for removing a live primer?

The only way to safely remove live primers is to fire them first barring that, you can soak them in WD-40 or diesel for a couple days to render them inert. Water will not kill primers. Oil will. I will tell you the Korean brass is hard and needs to be annealed before reloading or you will get a lot of split necks.

You also need a bullet puller to take it down without damaging the brass or bullets.
