A couple of years back I took a fall from a tree stand and ended up getting a infection in my foot...went from doctor to doctor until they sent me to a Orthopedic surgeon and they removed a infected bone. I was down for months keep you chin up it will get better....

Don't know the details, but sounds like you should be in a hosp with IV antibiotics if it's that bad. Possibly even a wound vac and it debrid daily.

Headed back to Doc. This came up 8 weeks after crash. was healing great. expected swelling due to nature of the cut. I am going to ask them about ortho doc today. I am wondering if the Gen Srg attached the Muscle correctly.on the top part of my lower leg

Kimber is right that is why i love Vandy they are quick to call them in. I had an infection in my leg started in foot and moved up. Went to Murfreesboro for a week in there and got discharged. Went to primary dr at vandy she put me back in the hosp at vandy for another week they finally got the right mix in me. When inf disease came it was a whole group of them with the head instructor teaching.

I can give you the name of the Doc that saved my Robin's life from infection - holler at me if you need it - he's at UT Med in NASH an in charge of Infectious control for all of the St. Thomas system including all the Baptist centers as well -
