Wherever there is societal collapse for any reason...Bosnia, Argentina, Brazil, New Orleans/Katrina...anywhere...the stories are basically the same.

Everyone needs to read this. Even if the federal govt. doesn't collapse, natural disaster or an act of terrorism can shut a city, state, region, etc. down for days or weeks at any time.
In our area, a major ice storm is the most likely culprit, and WILL happen eventually. If one is ever centered over a town the size of Nashville, things could get bad quick.
In the event of such a disaster, I won't be found sitting at a freeway off ramp waiting for the Red Cross, volunteers, National Guard, or even the U.N. I choose not to be a victim.

What if North Korea, Iran, or someone else pops off a nuke in orbit over the US??
An EMP is a very, very real threat, and would instantly put enormous areas of the continent back to the mid 1800's.
No electricity, no internet, no communications changes the societal dynamic profoundly.
I agree with the Bosnian.

I agree. We watch the Doomsday preppers and most stockpile the heck outta food. Some are smart enough to have some guns and ammo, but how much? My goal will be 500 rifle rounds minimum for larger game, 6000 rounds 22lr for pisol/rifle. Shotgun 200 rounds of 00 buck shot, 1000 rds 6 shot high brass.
