Just clicked the "Book" button for our 30th Anniversary Cruise! Got a few months to wait for it, but we've been looking forward to this landmark getaway ever since our 25th, and it is looking good to go. Man, I hate all the fine print stuff and scare tactics involved (For an extra $60 per person you can make changes 60 days out and lose only half your deposit!).

I was about to book one out of New Orleans and go pressure my good buddy Magician to take me out to dinner, but then I ended up finding a deal out of Canaveral that will also give us a day to visit with the BIL's family, and we haven't seen his tribe in several years. The way his 4 boys are growing, we'd better not pass this chance up.

Wonder if he'd take us out to eat... $;\)$

Now to find the cheapest way to Canaveral!

We've got til May to let the Fates toy with us, throw things at us to threaten the plan, yadda yadda. Theoretically our daughter will graduate college in early May, and will be on hand to house/chicken/dog-sit for us. Summer youth ministry schedule begins the day after we plan to get back from the cruise, where I'm speaking for a week of camp in KY.

But we're tough ticks to knock off! Our first cruise, our boy came down with pnoom... pnomon... pnyemony... he got real sick! We left him and his meds at grandmas and pulled out of port. Course, it cost us to keep in touch by email to keep tabs on him (he did great).

Plan to play this one out the same way! $\:\)$

Is Clark on the same cruise?
