Just for future info....when you hit a deer in the spine but from midways of the body towards it's rear it'll drop paralyzed but you'll have to finish it off. The same hit from midways of the body forward towards the head will kill the deer.

Congrats and good luck in future years!
I'm over here in Afghanistan now, hit me up with a PM and let me know where you're coming and who knows, may be at the same place as me and we can chat about hunting some over a delicious meal at the chow hall (food sucks btw, lol)
Oh yeah, if you're a smoker - may want to bring out a couple cartons, the px has been running low the past few weeks, especially on menthols
