Here's a pic from dec. I went 4 trips and got my limit 3 out of 4 times for the freezer the biggest went 2 3/4lb the other 2 1/2lb I usually do a lot of reading and very little posting

Those right there are my weakness. Il give deer meat away but I never part from my crappie. Those are gooduns. You get those one Weiss? We caught limit mon and tuesday, but our limit in tenn is 15per where 2days of limits is one day for u.

Man those are some great tasting fish! I batter them in coconut flour with some spices mixed in and cook them on a griddle in coconut oil. Delicious! I was never much of a crappie fishermen until a couple weeks ago when I caught several keepers at GSP and took them home to eat. Now, I plan on doing some crappie fishing this spring.

I've never even trolled or long lined spider rig etc. I just cast 1 jig at a time with ultralight rod and reel with 4lb line. I don't ever buy minnows unless I take a kid or someone with me insist
