I just love the excitement of the chase. Kind of like a game of chess...you go here, they go there, you go there...they go quiet! LOL...I love it. Especially the weeks leading up to the season of getting up early listening to try and find where they are roosting

I could care less about those big, noisy acorn and seeding-eating feathered rats. What more reason do you need to kill them?  Besides them being a great challenge and lots of fun to hunt, they are some of the best meat you will ever eat!

Here here! At least for the first 2 or 3 weeks. Problem is, while I'm hunting, I will find a rub line or scrapes or some other type of deer sign and start looking for new possible trees to hang stands
