Won't happen. It would be immediately injoined by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional. Hopefully we'll see the end of the Executive Order priviledge after the Kenyan is out of our White House.

Then again most people thought Obamacare was going to be ruled as unconstitutional.
As a retired vet, I no longer trust the government I swore to protect to do what it's sworn to do.

This is exponentionally more important to the people directly affected than Obamacare. Nobody went out and stocked up on potato chips and super size fries before Obamacare threatened to make them illegal because they are bad for you.

How long would it take the SCOTUS to act?
How many times in the past have they done so?
My people were forcibly removed from their homeland in 1838, AFTER the SCOTUS ruled it was illegal.
Andrew Jackson sent in Federal troops and did it anyway.
Forgive me for not trusting the relationship between the Executive and Judicial branches.

Really, what is there to stop him? Congress will NOT stand up if he follows thru with this action. They've allowed him to appoint positions that were supposed to be vetted and voted on by both Senate and House while they were adjourned, and they will cower down if he chooses to defile the constitution this time as well.

That's what I believe, and if I we're a betting man, I'd lay odds on his doing it to see how much ground he can gain.
He's repeatedly stated "if Congress won't act, I will."
He has, and will again.

Why wouldn't he. The constitution didn't stop him from doing things the first 4 years so why would it now.

I agree.
Obama has already set many precedents of ignoring and breaking existing laws. Our "Rule of Law", the longstanding glue that has held American society together now for over 200 years, is being arrogantly flicked by the wayside by a President who apparently sees himself more as a King.
