Go 270 to avoid the competing with the AR folks for ammunition!

Congrats on a great season.

I have been meaning for more than a year to come down and invade Yanhali. I just never can find the time, between wanting to hit my spots on Priest in bow/ML and my few private places in rifle, but you guys seem to see deer all season long down there. On Priest that is tough to do.

I love it! I topped it with 4x12x40 leopuld its a deadly combo. Very accurate it clovers with 150 gr core loc or the winchesters at 100 yds. I bought the .308 because i already have a 270. i wont carry it in bad weather.

Ammo won't be an issue. I have access to thousands of rounds of .308. 270 on the other hand can be tough to find I've noticed at times. It just seems there is very little stock of it. I like the long range capability of the 270 but I'm pretty sure out to 400 yards the 308 would do just fine. I've never shot anything but a target past 200 anyway. Most of my deer hunting is 100 yard max in timber.

Good to hear. I thought after handling it that it was one of the best guns for the money. I have read some really good reviews on its feel and accuracy as well. Sounds like a winner especially for the price.

First time sighting it in. The first shot is off the target then the bottom three closing in and the top 4 are the second magazine shooting of a make shift bench.
