"The best empirical research on the matter finds that, where gun ownership levels are highest, in fact, homicide rates are far lower," said University of Texas criminologist Tom Kovandzic.
NOTE: Mr. Kovandzic did not say homicides from guns. He said "homicides", period.

Who we refer to as "Good Guys" is not the same people "THEY" refer to as "Good Guys".
"Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question."

Look at history all over the world. The leftists have USED the guns to get THEIR way. Truer words have never been spoken, and it doesn't matter how you want to slice it or dice it: The LEFT embrace guns for themselves as they hypocritically demand others should NOT have their privileges.
Should be pointed out, that many of the most elitist of the LEFT have personal maids & attendants & butlers, along with personal security guards to carry their guns for them. There would be no further discussion about gun control if the same ideas were being applied to "hired" guns and the security detail of the LEFTIST ELITES. Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Rahm Emanuel, Rosie O'donnell, Andrew Cuomo, Lady Gaga, Piers Morgan etc.: They would all join to end the discussion if their demands on "the little people" were to be applied to them, too.
Any argument that a liberal like Obama can apply for "his" needing security for protection, should not the same argument be valid for the poor and the needy?
It may be the bigger problem we have in America is that politicians place themselves on a pedestal above the laws that apply to the common man. Could go on and on, such as politicians not having to participate in social security, not having to comply with ObamaCare, etc. And not only do they not have to comply with the gun laws of their jurisdictions, but they have the taxpayers paying for their guns.

I heard Chris Christie saying he was in favor of more gun laws, How NJ had the second most to NY and how well they were working. Said he was in favor of other things also.
I cant stand this guy, HIGHLY over rated. Worries me, he could be one of the next the GOP pushes, and they be WRONG again

I believe it's time the Tea Party starts gearing up for a 2016 run. I'm done with the Republican party!
