yea three bucks per year. AS many does as you want. I think two per day everday. Don't be for sure on that either though. Some counties do have different doe seasons.

I'm going down to Dallas county just south of Selma in a few weeks. This will be the third time I've been there and its a fun time. Killed a 10-pt the first trip in January 2011 and a doe on the opening rifle weekend of 2011. Just not the same as late season. Hopefully the bucks will be rutting and on the move.

I live in north Alabama and can't get fired up about hunting here after hunting in TN. We see 10 times as many deer in south Tn than we do in north Alabama. It is crazy how much difference there is in a short distance.

South TN seems to be much better than north AL IMO. More deer and bigger bucks. I grew up in Norht AL and all I ever wanted was to deer/turkey hunt in TN because it was like 10X better. I do think in the east part of the state and the south part is hard to beat for big bucks though. So much untouched woods.

I grew up in NW AL. And there are plenty of deer, and big deer at that! Just so many places for them to hide some never get seen!

There are areas of north Alabama that very few areas of TN can compete with on antlers. Jackson co and parts of Madison and Limestone. Jackson is as good or better than thd Nashville area for huge whitetails.
