Not allowed - However I am not TWRA
I am 5 minutes from there.
Rimfire and shotguns with #4 shot or smaller

What is your reasoning that centerfires are not allowed? I must be missing something.

My reasoning and understanding is (Speaking specifically of Cheatham WMA) Deer season legal with centerfire with big game permits and dressed as a deer hunter (blaze orange) during open small games season rimfire only and shotgun with #4 or smaller. when small game season closes you are not allow to call/hunt predators on cheatham.
I follow the rules and regulations as they are printed and posted and if i have a question as to anything outside those lines i ask, i value the ability to legally hunt game in Tennessee and want to be able to do so indefinitly.
I spend a lot of time at Cheatham and can say Randy is a great guy and have enjoyed my conversations with him and he has always taken the time to answer my questions and point me in the right directions when i began hunting out there. I see no reason for him to steer me wrong.

Have you had the conversations with Randy THIS YEAR? That information was correct through last season. However, I do not think it is correct for the 2012-13 season.
