Haha!! Forgot to put the wine in so not sure what to do with it now...said nobody  Lmao, well played Coach.
Preds, the geese are flying for the late season goose hunt...the snowmobiles are tuned up and the ice fishing gear is ready...miss Michigan a little?

Don't think I remember how to use a tip-up anymore but can probably hold my own sitting on a bucket in 10 degree weather.  I'd give anything to jump on the old Arctic Cat right now though. Blue with a side of Brats....... yea, some things I miss for sure.

Brown or sear 1st.It seals in the juices. Always let your meat rest before cutting it lets the juices redistribute.You'll find your roasts are more tender and moist this way.

IMO, you should ditch any recipe that calls for soup mixes, ranch dressing, and powdered garlic or onion.

I don't brown the meat, defeats the purpose of using a CP if you have alot of prep time....
No it doesn't. Browning is for flavor. I don't see what you mean by "defeating the purpose".

Negative ghostrider. There's no such thing as "sealing in the juices". Searing will lose more moisture than not searing, 100% of the time. But you're correct about letting it rest to redistribute the remaining juices.
But in a Crock Pot roast, it's a useless conversation anyway
