Hello all. I have an area I have turned into a tree plot. I want this plot to serve as a bowhunting spot. I currently have 10 trophy pears planted there (order from Edward Fort before they shut down). It is very close to the top of the ridge on the south side slope. This area also has a persimmon tree that does well each year.
I have an area where I can plant about 10 more trees. I would like to plant something that produces fruit during bow season and is very low maintenance. I could also be talked into putting a nut producer here instead of a fruit tree.
I know there are a lot of options but just wanted to hear some feedback from you all. Thanks and good luck with all of your QDM projects this year.

Kieffer pears would be my choice. Sawtooth Oaks would be a close second choice.

Walmart had them last fall. If you a google search, I think you can order them from a place in Florida.
