Plotwatcher is for.... well watching plots. The trail cam is for everything else.
From what I've read, plan on replacing batteries in the PlotWatcher every week.
My TruthCam 35's batteries have lasted all season plus a month.

Plotwatcher Pro batteries can last up to 3 months. The old Plotwatcher batteries run down in a week.
