Don't know if this has been on here or not, but just read that for the 2011-2012 season that Kentucky had a total of 68 Boone & Crockett entries for the season......more than any other state.
Pretty amazing soil there.....

While nutrition is certainly important to antler growth it falls 2nd to AGE. I have proof that B&C sized antlers can be grown and killed in Tennessee, even southern middle tn, You just have to let them get old enough. Great job by our friends in Kentucky for putting the whole package together!

how about we shut down buck hunting for about 3 or 4 years then we'll have B&C bucks running everywhere. I say if a 1 buck limit works then a 0 buck limit would be amazing.

I think we should stop killing all the mature bucks for a couple years and just shoot yearlings. Then the only bucks left will be the mature ones.
