Well how did it turn out???!
It was the best...honestly...my son came over and usually he says no thanks to my cookin'...took a little bite and said "fill 'er up pops"....but, next time...I should really put the wine in the pot instead of in my belly! geez!

You got that backwards. Half a glass for the roast, and the rest of the bottle while it cooks

The only thing worse than a wine hangover...... .....is running out of wine
Haha...so true! I just had the potroast for lunch and it's just getting better...sorta like lasagna or spaghetti, better the next day

There's a scientific reason behind that.....I just don't remember what it is. It's not just a mind game, but roasts/stews really ARE better the next day.
