That is what I do not get about these AP polls. Notre Dame got exposed for what they were last night. They were over ranked and over matched.

I saw that too....what a crock! There are 6 SEC teams (Bama, LSU, A&M, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia) that would have gone undefeated as well if they played Notre Dame's schedule, and probably Ohio State's as well! I guess last night lesson in soft schedules, being overrated and beating someone like a red-headed step child didn't sink in deep enough!

Northern writers are a majority in the AP voting. And they are heavily biased in favor of many teams in their region. Before the BCS poll started in 98, it was VERY frustrating to see teams such as Notre Dame, Michigan, OH State, and Penn St being pushed up the polls (and into better bowl games) by the AP voters.

I guess no one noticed the DORES got into the rankings at 23rd! Go DORES!! Can't wait to see if they can do anything next year.

I would venture to say that Stanford and MAYBE FL State would be the only 2 on that list that ND might could beat.

Vanderbilt could have beat ND last night.

I agree with both of you.
