I enjoyed the game, and the BCS has been very good to the SEC, but I can't wait to see the playoff after next year.

Glad to see the Tide get another championship and keep it in the SEC and in Alabama.
The SEC is screwed. Dems in congress are already drafting the College Football Fairness bill. It will call for re-distribution of excess southern football resources and assets to less fortunate parts of the country.

The SEC is screwed. Dems in congress are already drafting the College Football Fairness bill. It will call for re-distribution of excess southern football resources and assets to less fortunate parts of the country.
"There is no reason that 1% of the entire FBS programs are allowed to run rampant over all the rest." declared Obama. He continued, "Er...ah...I mean... This football conference cannibalized two teams from a former illustrious conference - elevating both to levels never seen before...in fact, one of them actually produced the 1st freshman Heisman Trophy winner in history! No conference should be able to take so much like that!!! That's the government's job."
Echoing his sentiment, Senate Majority leader Harry Reid D-NV complained, "Oddsmakers in my home state are having more and more of a problem publishing accurate point spreads when all other football conferences go up against the SEC, something has to be done." For his part, House Speaker John Boehner R-OH stated, "While I understand there is an issue - I feel that ALL FBS programs should contribute equally to our -er, I mean - their success and no increase should occur to any of them." When this reporter questioned just what the Sam Hill he was talking about, Boehner responded, "I'll have to get back to you...The President and I have an extended closed-door meeting to discuss the issue in order to hammer out a deal beneficial to all."
When asked his opinion of the crisis, former president Bill Clinton responded, "Boy - did you see AJ McCarron's girlfriend?!?!?"

I don't think Notre Dame would beat that Alabama team once if they played dozens of times. There wasn't one position on either side of the ball that looked like Notre Dame had the edge.

There is no scenario where this Notre Dame beats this Alabama. There are precious few Irish players that would get much playing time if they switched sides. All the hoopla about Notre Dame from about midseason on was so much wishful thinking. It's the same with Ohio State, USC, etc. This ain't your Daddy's NCAA football.
