can anyone confirm this? apparently she was about a quarter mile from where i hunt and had 2 cubs.....

It might be out on Percy Priest WMA near LaVergne. I know for a fact that bear remains have been found out there.

i'm hearing it's in the south end of the county, rockvale area. people from my church out there were the ones talking about it, i know that doesn't make it true though

i've hunted hard during deer/turkey seasons for 10+ years out there and have never seen one single sign of a bear in the area. i was told "a bear" killed a horse and 2 dogs - twra was called in after that.....i have a feeling the story is junk! i need the truth twra personnel! is black bear season only open in the eastern counties?

i actually have another question that also deals with the same area. if i find a pile of corn on my property and 2 climbing stands across the fence at 30ish yards on the bordering land.....without a "hunting accident" happening between them and myself, what will a game warden do to the hunters that obviously think they're slick by baiting my side to hunt their side?

Sorry, no official bear sightings in Rutherford county lately.

Also, you'll need to contact your local wildlife officer regarding the other issue.
