Friends, yes. Family, no. I'm a Yankee transplanted to the "South" for 10 years. I love so many things about the South and quite honestly I wish I was born there, but I wasn't. North vs South is fun if you make it fun. Lots of innocent stereotypes to play fun with on both sides. My family thinks I've been brainwashed by the South and I make fun of them all the time as being clueless, helpless big city Yankees who can't take care of themselves. They just roll with it. Lots of proud rednecks here, as they should be. Political correctness sucks.
