crow hunting question?

Not trying to start a debate but just curious, why are crows only allowed to be taken on fri, sat, and sun.?

Since crows are a migratory bird their season framework is set by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. The Feds give us a certain amount of days to hunt crows each year. By alternating days like we do we can extend the season over a longer period of time. In other words, if we put all the days together in a continuous season, a fair amount of the time would be closed since we would use up all our days quicker.
