I bought a rather expensive Gamo back a couple years ago. From about 10 yards it won't hit within 6" of the same place twice from a rest.
It is .177 caliber.
If it says they shoot 22 caliber that means the pellet is that size. They won't shoot both.

I was in the attic today and found my Crosman 760 with the owners manual. In the back of the manual is the warranty information I completed and dated 12/27/70. It shoots BB's and .177 pellets. Thinking about sending it out to be repaired. Needs new seals the wood butt stock is rough. I'm planning to make a new wooden butt stock.

Could they be used for small game hunting? Absolutely, I helped a buddy sight in his new RWS Diana 177 cal. with scope, and we could put the pellets in about a 1" circle at 30 yards. It shoots 800 fps and puts a pellet completely through a tin can.
