Atleast 4.5. I had a feeling that buck was going to have some age to him.
I wish everyone could see how worn down he was. I have never seen a buck so thin. I could see his back bone and feel all his ribs. He was a mess. I will put a post with him in a few days.

Perhaps now you understand why I honestly believe many mature bucks die of rut stress. It can wear them down to nothing. Until you've actually seen how sorry some of these old bucks are coming out of the rut, you just wouldn't believe it.
