After last years pre-vous call auction success, how many on here would like to participate for a custom call, especially if your not going to be attending the vous. We are raising money for St. Jude and the Carl Perkins Center for the prevention of child abuse.
So far, there have been 1 predator call and 6 turkey calls promised.
What ever calls that are not put up for auction on the site, will be auctioned during the vous.

Alright brother Grizz - as you know I'm clueless on the turkey calls and not far from that on the VOUS unfortunately. Are calls the only thing donated/auctioned? Where/when does this list of auction items take place?

Well in years past I asked several call makers I have done business with if they would be interested in supporting a charity auction to raise money for St. Jude in the name of TnDeer.com..... this does two things, raises money for a good cause, and gets the name TnDeer out in the public to show a positive side of hunters in the community.
The call auctions were something I came up with as a way to be valuable and bring something to the forum/site. If people lose interest and they become unpopular, I will stop asking for them.
In years past, around 1/2-2/3 of the calls sold for less than what the maker would usually sell them for. These aren't your store bought "cookie cutter" production calls.... All calls are custom, handmade calls, made by a person as a side job or hobby so that others may enjoy the quality and appreciate the craftsmanship dedicated to each call. Whether you buy for the charity, because your a call collector, or your a hunter looking for a quality call..... you shouldn't be disappointed buying any of these custom calls.
Kimber45, I can only say about the calls, because they are my "pet" project.... I had good experiences having a couple of auctions on the forum last year so anyone not attending the vous would have a chance to bid on a custom call.... I plan on doing the same this go around too.... The majority of the calls will be auctioned at the vous as an added bonus for attending the vous.
I hope to have the other two calls I will auction off on the forum by next week.... bidding will take place on the threads publicly or if you want to do it private, you can send it in via PM.
There will be 1 custom predator call and probably 2-3 custom turkey calls.... as of right now. The charities are St. Jude & Carl Perkins Center for the prevention of child abuse in Brownsville, Tn.
