Me, my 10 year old daughter Landry, and a friend named Rusty hunted Montgomery County this morning. My daughter killed 2, Rusty got 1, and I killed a 157.5 lb doe, my biggest ever.

I ain't gutted a deer in 3 or 4 years, my processor that I donate most of my deer to prefers them whole (which is awesome for me!!).

Yep, I weighed myself first to see how accurate it was.

Most of the weight estimators say live weight x .78= field dressed weight x .75=hanging weight x .75= edible meat weight

Using this formula with a live weight of 157.5, she would weigh 123 field dressed, 92 hanging weight, and 70 lbs of edible meat.

Good day afield!

Have never weighed on ungutted. My son has one that dressed 130lbs and I think my heaviest dressed doe is 105lbs. We have to drag them out so the guts stay where they lay.
