Sorry, but if a ribboned, otherwise legal deer, comes by me, I am killing it. There are no "pet deer" in Tennessee. Making a "pet deer" could be construed as violating TN's hunter harassment law.

No way id kill one with a collar or ribbon. Someone probably took it in and kept it alive when it was small and they did the right thing by not keeping it pinned up (which is illegal) and are hoping it keeps living. Im sure it frequents back to there house recently.

I could kill one in hart beat. To start with the only way someone could take one in and raise it is by pinning it and it got away during rut. The deer doesn't belong to one person.

I would never keep a deer as a pet but if someone shot one with a collar IMO they need their a-- kicked. I dont care if it is illegal to keep a deer as a pet or not.

I was Hunting in Rhea county and it looked like what you put around your wrist when you go to Hospital ( when admitted). it was really weird and thought i might ask
That's a 'green' belt deer. Be VERY cautious if you run across one wearing a black belt! They are subject to go all Ninja on you before you can blink.
