Yes it is...but what's the point of it? I guess .17's do nothing for me. About like a good looking 17 year old girl, useless to me.

Cant use a centerfire to hunt varmits on some wma & during deer season.its a better alt than the other rimfires according to the release

Plus ammo is gonna be cheaper than centerfire ammo.
