not saying she has it on her gun but there is a device for 1911's that allows the hammer to cock when the safety is manipulated to the off position. it is actually cocked and locked but just don't look like it.

I am not sure of the policy but the other day i saw two people in waly world with there sidarms clearly being warn and not one person saying anything.
