While walking my property yesterday, I found a dead grey fox. As far as I can tell it died of natural causes; no bullet hole, etc. I took and put it in the freezer because I would like to have the pelt, but was wondering if there is anything I need to do; tag it, etc?

Nothing required to keep it.

Since fox season is currently open, if you have a hunting license, you should be all set.

Excellent point Stik. In fact, we'd highly discourage handling any animal found dead for no known reason, especially animals that are susceptible to rabies.
