I have always wondered this but have not asked, what if you walk up on a dead deer, buck or doe, are you suppose to call to let the TWRA know of the lose to the heard so to speak. I'm not sure I'm wording this right.
Lets say If someone finds a deer, that they didn't shoot are they suppose to call it in?
Can you give me a few senarios were the law says this or that?

Straight from the hunting guide.
Big Game Found Dead: All big game found dead should be left where found and need not be reported. Individuals wanting to keep big game found dead, or any portion of the animal, must first contact the local Regional TWRA office within 48 hours for authorization.
