Well I am sitting in my ground blind this evening for my last hunt. I know I will be bummed out for the next few weeks. But I want to thank God for the blessings and health that he has given me that allow me to do this thing that I enjoy so much.

I guess I will get in the woods sunday morning for my last hunt of the season, then my daughter has juvenile next weekend. It would be nice to put a couple more in the freezer.

I wanted to get out there this AM but I was too dang tired. I'll hunt tomorrow AM and that's it for me. I'm booked up Sunday. Might take my boy next weekend, but that's usually a short trip in this cold.

Been an odd season. One for the books and I'm kind of glad to see it over. I'll start getting ready for Crappie season and getting ready for the 2013 garden $\:\)$

...after I catch up on this list of "I'll do it after deer season" honey do's $\:D$

plan to hunt the farm tomorrow. Also have plans to hunt scott county Sunday.

My girlfriend says i get depressed every year after deer season ends. I think its just me changing gears. I try to get a squirrel hunt or two in before the end of february. Thats sort of a step-down program to getting back to normal life routine again.
