fair price on Browning X-Bolt .308?

Found a Browning X-Bolt (black, synthetic) .308 for sale. Supposedly never been fired. Guy is asking $600. Sounds pretty decent to me... but I don't need the rifle.
Is that a good price or is it only about average?
Edit.. after thinking a little more.. I realized I don't know which model X-Bolt it is. No idea if it's the composite stalker, stainless stalker.. etc... that'd make a big difference.

$689.00 on GB .. plus shipping and background check.. so add about $45 more to it.. i would buy it..

The guy just sent me a picture of it.
It has a green stock. Doesn't appear to be the original stock. Go figure...
I really don't need it. I was only going to consider it if there was a chance I could make $100 on it closer to deer season. Doesn't sound like there's much profit in it if he doesn't come off the price. Oh well..

Sounds like a fair price, if you wanted a deer rifle to use. Doesn't sounds like you're going to make much, if you try to turn around and sell.
