Chicago going to be thier testing ground for taking and banning all guns. they will see how and what works there, then be trying to bring it to a city near you. Aint gonna hunt down here
Good. I hope the murder rate triples.
I would say that will help with voting but in IL the dead still get a vote.

Libs are racist against black guns.
Don't think they care what color. This was part of the article:
The Illinois State Rifle Association reports that Cullerton's bill will ban pump action shotguns, semiautomatic pistols and rifles, and even antiques rifles like the M-1 Garand, the rifle used by U.S. troops in World War II. The M-1 Garand has only an 8-round, clip-fed ammunition system, yet Cullerton wants to label it as an "assault weapon."
Sure hope this don't pass there because if it does, well we are all screwed.

It shouldn't pass.... IF it does, you can count on three things.... 1) high numbers of hunters moving out of state 2) rebellion against the government 3) GANGLAND Capitol

It really is.
And since NO ONE in Chicago now NEEDS their own private automobile, considering the "public" transportation across the city, shouldn't the City of Chicago now be confiscating private automobiles, too?
Look, NO ONE in Chicago NEEDS to own an automobile, and those who have them are killing hundreds of innocent people each year in Chicago. We must get these assault vehicles off the streets of Chicago!
There is also the issue of the assault fuels which are used in the assault vehicles. Many a Chicago building has been set fire using these assault fuels that are primarily used in the assault vehicles. Since these assault vehicles cannot be used without the assault fuel, we could ban all assault fuels, which would become a de facto ban on the assault vehicles?
Next, all private homes should be banned! Why should so many Chicagonians have such nice private homes when so many other Chicagonians are living, no "dwelling" in rat-invested public housing? The best way to make the public housing better would be if all Chicagonians were forced to live in public housing. Of course, politicians, union members, and government workers would be exempted from all the above.
Otherwise, what we need to make the world better is trickle-up poverty. That seems to be how the liberal mindset views all thru their prism of class warfare and hate mongering, with exceptions for themselves not to follow the dictates they demand from everyone else.

Majority Leader Harry Reid’s control -- is now crusading to implement:
* Gun bans on semiautomatic firearms and magazines;
* An effective ban on gun shows;
* A ban on private gun sales, without going through a gun dealer; and,
* Changes in the Senate rules which would allow them to ban guns with a mere 50 Senate votes.
ACTION: Contact your Senators and tell them that the vote on the “nuclear option” will be the most important gun control vote of the 113th Congress. Urge them to vote AGAINST changing the Senate rules. Tell them to vote AGAINST the "nuclear option."
You may also phone the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. A switchboard operator will connect you directly with the Senate office you request.

Glad the proposed ban died on the vine but the fact that they were including pump shotguns and semi-autos like the Garand proves that they aren't going to stop with just the so called assault weapons. If the Garand was on thelist, then you know the Remington and Browning auto deer rifles were on there with their removable magazines. This is why I get so frustrated with gun owners or hunters who are wiling to go along with banning assault weapons or large magazines because they don't have one. How can they be so naive?? You give up one category of guns by passing a gun control law and you have opened the door to giving up all of them. Don't believe me? Look how many gun laws have already been passed? Have the liberals ever said, "Well, we've done our job here - lets leave gun owners alone now!" No, they never have and they never will.
Gun control doesn't work, criminals will not give up their guns or abide by the gun laws. They are criminals for heavens sake! Liberals don't see it that way though, when they see crime continue in spite of their laws, they interprete that to mean there is some "loophole" that needs closing and this gives them justification to pass more gun laws. It's a never ending cycle that feeds upon itself.
