Please for anyone coming and new to hog hunting please pay attention on what your shooting at and not get trigger happy and to excited most of the dogs that will be out there will be black and or brindle so its hard to tell the difference between dogs and pigs when coming through the woods. Some dogs dont bark so dont count on that either. Good luck to all going.

I have the type 001 small game&fishing. if need other licenses which ones do i need to get?

Ask in the TWRA forum, I would think you need a type 94 but I'm not %100 sure about that

Well i just called the Region III Office and they told me the hog hunting didn't start until the 7th of January. Then i ask them if i need any other license instead of a type 001 and they told me that i didn't on this hunt so i'm good to go now.

Oh yeah, everything but that brindal dog can still go. Most of those cuts were just skin cuts. I had 3 dogs that I didn't take and that Walker wasn't mine. They might be a little sore but they'll work the soreness out. You can't keep them from hunting, they love it too much.
