Lots of variables for me...time of day, type of weather, hand call vs electronic call, etc. Early AM i generally hand call and start soft and grow in volume and will space up to 5 minutes or more between sequences and stay at it for 45 minutes or longer if in a "good" area. Mid day electronic call and run it constantly working volume up and down very few stops and only set for 20 minutes. Before dark hand call loud to start and get softer and short spaces between seguences and set a little longer., I tend to call longer on sunny days and do quicker set on cloudy days... its what has worked for me. 10-12 years ago you could start calling and have them come screaming in...lots of educated coyotes now...almost have to finesse them in now.
