One of the web sites I frequent, snipershide, has a hunting forum.
Check out this guys photos of coyote hunting. Not sure where is was, but said it was sub zero temps.

How do you surpress a 22-250?
I assume it wouldn't be totally silent, just more quiet?

You eliminate the muzzle blast, but the ballistic supersonic crack remains.
Ear safe and supposedly it is very difficult to locate the source of the crack.

Cheap, steel, suppressor- about $500
Very nice, titanium (light weight)- about $900
And don't forget your $200 donation to BATF for the tax stamp.

If your thinking of buying a supressor look into getting an NFA trust. It maybe pricey up front but well worth it. It allows anyone you deem responsible to possess them to include family. Just have to add them to the trust. You can even designate an inheritor so they won't have to deal with a transfer and fee if something happens to you. My supressors are sitting at the shop awaiting gov't approval. Amazing takes them 24 hrs to cash the check and 3 months to approve paper work.

3 months?
Who are you bribing in West Virginia?
I have had a Form 1 in since June. Not a peep from them yet. (Form 4s take the same amount of time. Averaging 6-7 months.)
I'll do a Form 4 for my 30cal suppressor in Feb, should be done by deer season.
