Wonder if you could make one with a revolver action and single rifled barrel like an Old Army.

Yeah, mostly what Ive seen is old school type stuff, funny no one seems to make a "modern" double barrel muzzleloader. Seems like that would be an oxymoron ? Just thinking, its a way to have 2 shots.

Legal, and way too outdated and heavy for my personal taste!

BSK,
So do you have to flip a rear sight own and the other up after the 1st shot? It looks to only have 1 front sight so seems that you could only have 1 rear sight available at a time. If that's the case, you couldn't get two instant shots like yau can with a classic African double cartridge rifle.
Yep, 58 caliber full-bore bullets are going to give some serious recoil!

That is exactly right. You have one rear blade flipped up and the other down (one front post). After shooting one barrel, you flip that blade down and the other up (one is about a half inch in front of the other). For an open-sighted gun, it is amazingly accurate. I could shoot 3-inch groups at 100 yards. Anything beyond that distance and those giant Minnie balls dropped like a rock though.

Yes, like bring tears to your eyes serious.
