This was an "up" year, most likely due to good weather conditions for most of November (compared to the last couple of Novembers). We will see "up" years and "down" years, but the trend will be continuously and slowly upward over time. And this upward trend will have nothing to do with seasons and bag limits and everything to do with a growing percentage of hunters practicing voluntary restraint in what they pull the trigger on.

I seen trail cam pics of a buck in Henderson county it was a 8 point he would easily break 160's. there was quite afew 140's and 150's killed in the area this year Dang, 160" 8 points aren't common! I'll send you something you may find neat here in a little while.
Yes I know. But after my buddies 150 8 point. There no doubt in my mind it would go into the 160's

Cause for the last few years, it has been true. Gets better every year. Should continue for a while of the regs don;t get drastically changed.

Then I guess it's a trend. I'll expect next year to be even better. I know it wasn't too many years ago that killing any deer (or even seeing deer) was a big deal. Now it's no big deal for everybody to kill 7-10 or even more every year.
